29/06/07 – Indo-EU Informal Brainstorming Day held in Pisa on 26 June 2007.

The INDO_EU Informal Brainstorming Day was held at the CNR Campus in Pisa, on Tuesday 26th June, 2007 in coincidence with the visit of Dr. Y. K. Somajayulu, National Institute of Oceanography (NIO) that follows the launch of the ALTICORE-India project (funded by the Government of India).

The purpose of the meeting was to provide (1) a multidisciplinary forum for strengthening scientific cooperation between India and Europe in the area of ocean observing systems (in situ, satellite, modelling), (2) to exchange views and experiences, (3) to explore potential mechanisms of synergy.
